Accelerated reading program provides the essential practice component of your core reading curriculum. In addition to making reading practice fun and exciting for every student, Accelerated Reader gives you continuous feedback to personalize instruction so every student achieves maximum success.

Accelerated Reader enterprise helps create excitement for reading in three steps. At the same time, it guides students to their maximum growth in reading success. |
1. Student reads a book. Students choose books at their appropriate reading level and read them at their own pace. |
2. Student takes a quiz. Accelerated Reader Enterprise offers more than 100,000 quizzes to help the students to be motivated and monitor their increased reading practice. |
3. You get information. The teachers get immediate feedback of the reading and vocabulary progress of each student.

St. Joseph's has an after school reading program that gives students from grades one on up the opportunity to get more reading time in. Cindy Kammerer, the school librarian, organizes the Accelerated Reading program throughout the school.

Accelerated Math Program is designed to improve the math skills of all students. This program provides ongoing information about student math skills development to help the teachers differentiate instruction to address individual needs.

This program is in the grades one on up. The students get the opportunity to work at their individual level. The students can progress or repeat any level in mathematics to best suit their needs. |

Stanford Achievement Test Series offers a state-of-the-art measure of student progress. Stanford 10 is a new series of assessments that aligns its assessments to the state and federal standards.

This technically excellent instrument provides the valid and reliable tool needed for objective measurement of achievement. St. Joseph's is able to obtain reliable data to evaluate the progress toward meeting content standards and high expectations. Teachers will identify and help children who are at risk of being left behind. Parents will understand what their children know and can do and how they can help. |
